NYC Invests in Blockchain Education: Launch of NYC Node CoinTrust
The City of New York has embarked on its maiden venture into blockchain infrastructure with the introduction of NYC Node. Facilitated by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) in collaboration with NYC Talent and CUNY Queens College, NYC Node has been unveiled as a blockchain learning initiative.
NYC Node aims to deliver practical learning experiences, workshops, and research opportunities on blockchain to over 200 students and faculty members within the CUNY network. The initiative is funded jointly by NYCEDC, NYC Talent, and CUNY Queens College, which have allocated resources for Ethereum node equipment, including central processing units (CPUs), motherboards, and graphics cards.
